APRIL 2026 MOVIES ON THE PROM
7:30 SHOWTIME
Spend Saturdays in April with us on the prom. We’re throwing Route 66 cinema-themed parties + activations all day long!
Think a dope car show for, obviously, Cars.
Show up for Pee Wee’s Circus Party on on the Prom followed by a double feature of Third Street’s most iconic bike rider.
A record party seems an obvious choice for Pretty in Pink. Then finally, party with us from the Pier to the Prom for Forrest Gump.
Theaters were the magnets that drew customers and new activity to the Promenade.
The Broadway theater on Third, originally called the Elmiro, was built during the Depression, at a time when construction activity nationwide had all but slowed to a halt. Because of its entertainment value, this diversion from economic woes was all the more welcome.
